Early access

When Stripe or Shopify change their API, get a pull request, not an outage.

AppVerix Migrate is a GitHub App that watches the Stripe and Shopify Admin API changelogs, finds the code in your repo that a deprecation breaks, and opens a pull request with the migration and a plain-English explanation linked to the official changelog.

Dependabot bumps versions. Migrate rewrites the code.

Not just a version bump

Renaming a removed parameter or moving to a replacement method is the work that version bots leave to you. Migrate does it.

Deterministic first

Every fix comes from a written rule with a link to the provider's changelog. Changes that need judgment are flagged for review, never guessed.

Reviewable

One PR per migration, with a checklist, file and line references, and the reason for each change.

How it works

1

Install on GitHub

Pick the repos. Migrate asks only for contents and pull request access.

2

We track the changelogs

Stripe API versions and Shopify's quarterly Admin API releases are turned into machine-readable rules.

3

Your repo is scanned

Version pins, removed parameters, removed methods, legacy endpoints and fields are detected in JS/TS and Python.

4

A fix PR opens

Automatic changes are committed; anything that needs a human is listed with the official migration guide.

Example from our test fixture: Stripe 2026-09-30.endive removed payment_method_types.

--- a/src/billing.ts
+++ b/src/billing.ts
-const stripe = new Stripe(key, { apiVersion: "2024-06-20" });
+const stripe = new Stripe(key, { apiVersion: "2026-09-30.endive" });
   return stripe.paymentIntents.create({ amount, currency: "usd",
-    payment_method_types: ["card", "link"] });
+    allowed_payment_method_types: ["card", "link"] });
-  const inv = await stripe.invoices.retrieveUpcoming({ customer, subscription });
+  const inv = await stripe.invoices.createPreview({ customer, subscription });

Supported APIs and rules

Rules are versioned and sourced from the official changelogs. auto-fix means a code change is committed; flagged means the PR points to the exact line and the migration guide.
